As we mentioned Andy Billingham went to the show at Hannover recently and came back with some interesting news:
EMKA have just bought Strenger GmbH a company specialising in locking bars, gate espagnolettes, metal structures, and aluminium fittings for pivoted/bottom-hinged windows and glass doors – they are located nearby to EMKA corporate HQ and have a completely complementary product range so we look forward to seeing some new developments – while of course the current Strenger range will be available through EMKA UK.
EMKA are now co-operating with Reell Precision Manufacturing, Inc. who specialise in friction hinges for everything from laptop computers to horsebox rear doors – so again we look forward to joint developments and to EMKA UK being able to offer Reell products in standard or custom configurations.
New product (and leaflet) – the RMS 490 Rack Management System which incorporates current sensing and intelligent pdu’s with controls for a range of environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity and acceleration ( re vandalism ) – all packaged in a standard 1U 19in format.
New brochure on EMKA Commercial Vehicle products – locks and latches, handles, hinges and gasketing for every type of commercial vehicle from horseboxes to caravans, trucks and coaches.
And of course the fabulous EMKA 2500 handle program which received an “IF product design award” for it’s design innovation.
